I have just read about someone with ms and it scares me to think i hav that because the symptoms are so like mine, they were saying that wen u roll ur yes you feel a pain i dont feel a pain but sometimes when i look up i get tension in my eyes but not as bad as when i first wake up. they also said weaknes in legs and feeling weak is a cause im just scared now really scared that my dc has missed that, but then again wouldnt he of thought about it and why did he persist so much about not having an mri or ct, he said it was for my own good and i didnt need to be put thru that. Im just worried, is this yet another symptom that im looking nup on google and worrying unnecessraily about

im so sorry guys to post constantly but im so so so so scared.

Katy

Yes stop googling because you will find that you have every possible illness under the sun.

I bet you only skimmed over the symptoms that you had and ignored others that you don't have.

Anxiety can make us think that we have all sorts of illnesses and we won't have them.

Please try to calm down and you won't have MS atall.

Stop googling!

Sorry I have to laugh as I was thinking abouth the exact same thing today. I've been reding a copy of the Clare Weekes book and It brought a smile to my face when I read this:

A nervously fatigued, or nervously ill person, is suggestible: a pain here, a weakness there, is enough to convince him that he has some strange disease-so often, multiple sclerosis. Formely he would have worried little about these symptoms, or would have seen his doctor whithout to much concern. In my opinion, few nervously ill people are truly hypochondriacs. They are simply people who are tired of being ill and are so sensetized, they feel they cant bear the extra strain of worrying about new physical symptoms. They should not be ashamed if they feel they need to visit their doctor frequently, to get relief from worry. They should explain to their doctor that in their present state they cannot avoid noticing every new symptom that appears; that their nerves are reacting in an exaggerated way and they need the peace they hope his explination will bring. They are not true hypochondriacs.

Hope this helps

Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

katy no need to apologise for we all need extra help and encouragement at different times. but your legs are weak because you are suffering from anxiety. no phisical tiredness could match that of mental tiredness. you legs are weak they are not damaged. your eyes are tensed, they do not mask ms

post as often as you like for we will reply when you are in need. claire weekes talks of healthy legs drained by nervous exaustion.

i hope this helps
