i heared in dr oz about if you have bad teasting in your mouth it might by a cancer that was year ago after that i started to teast funny things in my mouth and tingling in my mouth i started to look every where in my tongue and i found in the back side of my tongue a small soft lumb i scared i went to a doctor i did not till him about the bumb but i just told him about the feeling on the tongue. i went to three dentist about the same problem but i never mentioned the lumb and some said stress, some said just bactaria in the mouth, and some said dry mouth. two dectores took exray and one of them took one for the whole mouth. and fined nothing. today which been a year i have the same symptomes and the size of the lumb didn't change because i keep watch in it. i read article about lumb in the tongue and they say it may be cancer. i freaked out i could not eat my dineer i was cold and checking and i cried i was really scared i feel i might have it. please i need help i need to sleep any advice.

Dentists in the UK look for abnormalities in the mouth as a part of a check up, I would imagine it’s the same in America. I would have thought anything unusual they would have mentioned it or referred you back to your doctor if they were in doubt. What you have to remember is that dentists don’t just do teeth they are responsible for everything that goes on in your mouth, effectively they are specialists – someone your doc would refer you to even, and not always the other way round.
To put your mind at rest go back to your docs, while you are anxious about this problem your head will tell you all sorts of things and you will taste all sorts, once you have the all clear chances are all these symptoms will go.
