I suffer from occasional A Fib for which I take Flecainide 150mg twice daily.
It's been getting a bit worse lately as in more frequent so I have an appointement whith a Cardiologist again in 3 weeks. It's possible a may have the Catherter Ablation procedure. Has anyone had this and is it possible this could fix me????
Also my main question is I never get it while i'm awake only in my sleep which then wakes me up and I can't go back to sleep 'cause i'm scared.
I'm scared all the time in fact. I feel my life is over sorry to sound dramatic but it's broke me....

Hi there :)

I don't have the same condition as you but can see you are worried so took the liberty of looking at a reputable site on the web.

Bear in mind hun that nobody on this forum is qualified to give a medical opinion when it comes to quite specialist conditions as yours, I think even the lovely nurses who we have here (forum users themselves) would agree.

What I would say is that there is a great success rate for the procedure that you may have, it is best not to write about it here but if you want, I can PM the details to you from the site that I looked at.

Just let me know. :)

Also..if you are worried, discuss it with your GP or Cardiologist.
