hi
i wanted to post this to encourage people and also to thank people.
i went for a job interview yesterday, it is still where i work but going up a step and more money.
i got it !!!
it is for a building co-ordinator, doesnt sound very exciting i know but i work with young adults with severe learning dis at a resadential placement. it will be being incharge of one of the buildings there and having to undertake supervision of the staff in that unit, ordering meds, making sure students are all ok, co-ordinating with their familes and lots more.
i got through my first interview with the help of everyone here and that was 4 1/2 yrs ago.
i have never really achieved much in the way of exams and jobs(although i have brought up four kids alone).
anyway i am feeling really pleased and a bit emotional( daft bat i am at times lol).
anyway i want to say a huge thanks to nic and everyone who runs this site i have come so far and just keep on going but i would have not done with out this site. trust me guys i owe you everything for giving me my life back.
and a special thanks to those in chat yesterday as i was having atough time with my daughter after her op and you were all there encouraging me and helping me.for those that are struggling hang on in there i have had a few blips but believe me its worth fighting for and you will get there in the end,
