Chemist no 20mg [Archive]

Chemist had no 20mg so gave me 10mg and told me to take 2 at a time, I suffer really bad panic and aniexty and this had just brought it on more,, is it safe to take 2 10mg to subsitute 20mg i know it seems a silly question but when u suffer panic the last thing i need is worryin abiut the medication thats meant to help..

Thanks, havnt had my tablets now for 2 nights coz was scared to take 2 10mg, im the same when the make is different to the one im on even tho its same medicine just a different company, will take them 2mora now, normally take about 7pm so bit late now. am very nervous how these tablets ive been on for about 5 months now have effected the baby, im due in 5 weeks now,

Hi Joanne

From what I've heard/ read, doctors aren't all that concerned about expecting mums in the latter stages of pregnancy taking citalopram. Best of luck for both you and the baby.

Hi Joanne I have done exactly the same.
I am on 20mg and I have a box of 10mg and yes they are sitting on the manltepiece like an ornament!! Mine were prescribed specifically for upping my dose from 20 to 30 though. I managed it for 3 days?? I think most of us say right its 20 mg I am on and thats the only shape form I will take it in as we so want to get better , and that is the only thing that will help us.I even borrowed 4 20mg off my work collegue as she is on the same dose as me!!:doh:
