Head Pressure, Dizzy, Unsteady, Weird Scalp

For the past few weeks I have had a strange pressure and light-headed sensation in my head.

I feel dizzy a lot of the time and have a sensation of pressure in my ears. As well as that my scalp is constantly tingling and I sometimes feel my pulse in my scalp. The weird feeling extends to my eyes too and I can get a disorented feeling and a feeling of losing my balance. Can anyone help? My GP says anxiety and said it doesn’t sound like neck strain/TMJ.

Any advice/help/suggestions greatly appreciated

Hey there, I get this too. It is anxiety. the lightheaded feeling is strange as you know you are not off balance but you feel you could be and your head feels like it is in a vice. I just try to ignore it and do some deep breathing i think it may be caused by hyperventilating and not breathing deeply enough.

How strange this is exactly the same symptoms I have at the moment which lead me to discover this site today.

I would not say it was a painful feeling, saying that I had a full blown headache last night. It feels like a weird tight or pushing feeling on my head. I also feel like I am having problems concentrating and focusing with my eyes. Also have strange tingling sensations too.

I am not sure if it has anything to do with the amount of alcohol I consumed on Saturday night :shrug:
