Hi Everyone

I have been on these pills for like about nearly 6 months or so and not really sure about them. I was hoping they might sort things out for me regarding the periods and that, hmmm. Not helping so far http://talk-depression.org.uk.invisionzone.com/public/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif. Sorry if TMI, I seem to be spotting everyday, and have like period pains, feeling sick and back pain on a regular basis. Not happy one bit. I am just getting sick of it.

My dr did mention if I wanted to see a specialist or something but im not so sure. Just stressing about the whole thing. It doesn't help the place where I have to go is about 15 miles away in a city, and have to get the bus.

When I went to the local hospital and had tests there she was like rude and horrible and we ended up arguing, and saw specialists there and she like old school style, aprupt and that, not very friendly.

Sorry not sure why I even posted, I guess to get it off my chest, but it will still be going around my brain all of the time. Stressing and worrying about everything.

Hi I take the mini=pill for oestrogen dominance. Its clear that after 6 monthes youve given these tabs a good go...you shouldnt be suffering like you are x
Perhaps your gp could change the dose/meds? It seems you should at least have a chat with your gp and explain whats going on x
Im sorry youre still suffering, its hard being a woman.!
I hope you feel better soon x:hugs:

I have been on Cerazette for about 2 years now... it certainly did similar things for me at the beginning. The first chunk of months were all over the place, nothing for a while, heavy for a while, very painful, then spotting... oh it was a nightmare. But now they've really settled down and are working wonderfully for me.

I took cerazette on two occasions and when I started getting the awful symptoms again the second time the penny dropped and I came straight off them. They made my anxiety ten times worse amongst other side effects. There are so many progesterone only pills out there your Dr could try you on another. The reason they like to give cerazette out these days is because you have a 12 hour window with it, The other POPs only have a 3 hour window so if you're a bit forgetful they're not so good. But I just set an alarm on my phone. I have trouble with most pills though :(

I have also used Cerazette as the progesterone component of HRT. They controlled my cycle fine, but seemed to make my anxiety much worse in the run-up to periods. I would spend about a week a month obsessing about death, which really wasn't what I wanted. I've therefore changed on to Provera now and am giving them a try at the moment.

Is provera another pill blueangel? Or is it an injection?

I think it can be available in both formulations - if I remember rightly, the injection is called Depo-provera and is given every 12 weeks. A friend of mine used to be on it. I'm on the 2.5 mg tablets for half of my cycle.

Hi Everyone,

Many Thanks for taking the time to read and reply on my posts.

Thanks for your reply Paula, I think being a woman totally sucks and men just don't understand at times. I hope something sorts it out soon. I am a wimp for any pain, and just sick of it at the moment. hmm. Yeah the dr does sort of know about it. Its down to me in what to do, for instance see a gynecologist or something to see if anything else is wrong.

Thanks for your reply Mumble, how long did it eventually take to settle down. Yeah the spotting(not very heavy at the moment) is a pain, but im totally sick of the tummy pains and back pains and feeling sick, did you get these?.

Many thanks for your reply dodo, what other symptoms did you get ??. Not sure what to do really hmm.

Many thanks for your reply blueangle, crikey sorry to hear that, hugs. How is provera going along?? or is it to early to tell.

Thanks again for replying, just got things to think about, in what to do really. Don't see my dr for like another 2 weeks.

Anita. Xx.
