has any one who has taken propanolol felt like its caused to slow there heart to much which has ended in another anxiety attack ????

No, sorry. I had 40mg x 3 times daily and it really helped to stop the palpitations and fear.
Maybe your dose is low? They should work within 25 mins.

I took mine at regular, equal intervals during the day, one to start when I woke up. Give it time.

I've felt like it was stopping my heart from beating properly before, however that was actually anxiety and not the pills XD

They got my pulse down from 130bpm to 80 bpm. It should be 63bpm but I'm happy it's lower!

They should work if you get the right dose.

HI,
i've been on propranolol for about 6 months now and last week they increased my doage from 40mg a day to 80mg a day, they are making me feel realy ill, weak n faint at the minute.

Since taking them i felt exactly the same, i constantly check my pulse, i'm not a doctor and dont know what a really slow pulse feels like but if it feels slow to me i panic even more, scared i'm gonna faint. so far the meds aren't doing me much good and my anxiety continued to get worse when i go out
