I was just thinking how many changes I have made for the better since I started with anxiety.

My anxiety bottoms out at about 40% and never any less. As I am always in a state of scanning my body for the slightest symptom. I made a lot of changes over the years.
Here are some of the good and bad changes.


Gave up Alcahol as I panic if I havn't had enough
Went Decaf
Increased my walking
dont eat red meat
stopped smoking
moved to a less stressful place
packed in my stressful job and got a lower stress one


The things that aren't so good are.

Very cautious what exercise I do
In constant state of stress
dont sleep so well


All in all I feel great that I have made so many positive changes in my life. Saying that I worry like hell about my families health as they have not made the changes.

Anyone done anything similar?

Yep - no coffee, no alcohol, eating GI to avoid sugar rushes...

I try and walk every day and relatively regularly do meditation/yoga/tai chi or just breathing exercises.

Actually just winds me up that other people don't have to be so strict with themselves! I don't worry about them though - clearly they're doing better than I am!
