advice please!

Sorry should prob post this is meds section. I am just becomign a bit worried as I have been taking diazapan as required for about 6 weeks now. Some days I don't take any, on bad days I take approx 4mg ( pdoc said could take up to 10mg). Just my dp/ dr has been really bad over last week and am trying to manage without taking them but am also becomign a bit scared now about physical dependence on them... does anyone know how long it takes? x

Well, I have only just managed to take my first one (so scared of meds) and I gather that they are only used for short periods of anxiety. Maybe (if you're braver than me) you could go back to the dr and take some of the things that lots of people have on here that are non-addictive. I wish I could bite the bullet and take something that would really work in the long term but I am working towards that with my counsellor. Take care x
