Hi folks,
I've suffered from panic and anxiety for nearly 20 years now and it's only been in the last couple of years that I've realised what it was i was suffering from. For years i just coped, kept it all in and didn't even speak to anyone about it. After a few trips to my GP and a couple of 12 month courses of citalopram I opened up a little more and have been having counseling for the last few months. It's been great to open up and talk about it, to explain to my gf what goes on in my head sometimes and to finally realise I'm not alone.
Things are pretty good just now but i know this is a condition i will probably have for the rest of my days - maybe i will, maybe i won't, but it's reading forums like this and speaking about things that make it a little less scary.
I'm hoping to chat about things and looking forward to sharing experiences and support with you all.
Andy
