I originally stuck this under the wrong forum (social anxiety). Has anyone ever had any trouble with their retina? I have some floaters, and dark spots in my right eye. Went to the eye doctor and he said a part of my retina was stuck and usually it will separate and be fine. But, if it continues to stretch it could tear or break. I have to go to a MD eye doctor next week who sometimes prophylacticaly treats these I think with a laser. Has anyone has this done before? I am just panicky about it.

Anyone? Help.
I have felt nauseated after I eat for the past few days. I don't know if it's because of this stretched retina I have which causes some floaters and blurriness in my right eye or if it's just because my anxiety is way up because I"m afraid of what they are going to be doing to correct it. I see the eye doctor on Tuesday. I get really scared when I nauseated (I have a phobia about throwing up) and also because I lost 20 pounds from this anxiety and I have finally gained 14 pounds back and now I'm afraid that I might start not being able to eat very well again. I have been doing pretty well, still have anxiety, but have been working, trying to get over my phobia of exercise because of the elevated pulse, been pushing myself to do things, and now this thing with my eye happens and I'm scared the anxiety will go way up again. Anybody have any ideas? Is my upset stomach again from the anxiety or is the eye causing it?

Sorry I can't offer much help. But my dad had to see an eye doctor once because he had a head accident. He had to have an eyeball injection and he was so scared they had to hold him down. But it only felt like a little dot on his eye. A lot of people don't like things coming near there eye. I suggest practising putting your finger in front of your eye to get used to the feeling of things near your eye on the appointment. I think the stomach thing is you being anxious from your eye. Hope it gets better. By the way, you will apparently be posting that second post in 10 minutes according to my clock. In the future. Thats...creepy.
