Hi

I been experiencing some chest pains that come and go on the left side of my chest. Beneath my breast in my rib cage i think.

Its just because its on the left side, close to my heart i worry.

I had it last week for 2 days and it went, but tonight its back!

Anxiety?? Stress??

Any advice much appreciated!

Chest pain on the left near the heart is not heart attack pain so don't worry about that at all.

Probably muscular and/or indigestion can cause chest pain.

The heart is a muscle and is effected like other muscles in the body but stress and anxiety and muscular things.

I get them all the time. If I pay close enough attention I can feel the knotted muscle. It can be scary since we know that pains on the left side can be a symptom of heart trouble although not the only symptom. I had one the other day that scared the heck out of me..

Like right now my right shoulder blade is cramping and I have indigestion. I'm fighting hard to not panic. I have to remind myself that I have been coughing for over 2 weeks now so yea my back and chest will hurt. Think about other causes for that feeling.

Pains near the heart do not mean heart trouble at all.

cheers guys. Well I slept okay and the pain gone for now.

Its kinda felt like a muscle pain in my rib cage near the heart so i guess thats what it was.

Cheers again!!
