Such a dry mouth [Archive]

I have been on Sertralin now for 10 days and I was wondering if it was normal to get such a dry mouth and to be so thirsty?? How long do they take to really take full effect?

I belive one of the side effects is a dry mouth and I know Sertraline can have an effect on your sodium levels?

I've had a dry mouth the 9 weeks I've been on it.
Really just want to come off now.

paulafish (http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/member.php?u=32097) it can take up to 6 weeks before you fully feel the effects of Sertraline. Though if the dry mouth persists after say 2-4 weeks I would see your GP.

MidnightCalm (http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/member.php?u=29286) 9 weeks with a dry mouth as a side effect, that is quite a long time. Have you spoke to your GP about it?
