Hi, make sure you take the tablet to the back of the throat before swallowing ok. My tongue goes numb/burns at times..maybe more to do with tabs than anxiety at time. It will not hurt you ok. x

I don't think it is from the tablets! Cause I have been having this feeling in my tounge and throat for on and off for months even before starting the lexapro they thought I had acid reflux tried the meds for 6 months did not help, so they did tests and said it was not acid reflux my tounge and throat got worse being on the ppis, so they are saying anxiety, which I do have, but how can it come and go and why is the meds not helping?

Anxiety ALWAYS comes and goes, its never constant. This is because others "stressors" play a part in your life too. If your meds are not helping, see your doctor, maybe a change of med/dose is in order x
