I was wondering if you guys could help with my problem. I have always been an anxious person and worry far to much than i should. Recently i had a viral infection and was feeling dizzy all the time and was gettin pressure headaches and my sinuses hurt and pain in my neck and shoulders. having all this started me panicking about having a brain tumour or something similiar, this started me having panic attacks. but the last few days i have been feeling like im in a dream world and im not really with it anymore and im dreaming things. the strange thing is im not really panicking over it as i dont feel im in my own body anymore. but im really scared as i dont know what it is. I have never used hard drugs as i know this can have an affect on the brain. my head just feels so blocked and my vision is impaired occasionally. i was placed on medication from the doctor for my panic attacks but have only bein on them 2 days.

Is it Physcological?

Am i goin mad?

Is it a form of panic attack/disorder?

Plaease help guys as i hate this feeling and any help would be appreciated.

sorry my first post was so long, but thanks for reading.

hiya,
You are NOT going mad. The symptoms of anxiety are very crafty and changeable; one day your mind will be racing at a hundred miles an hour and on others you will feel so out of it, that it seems everything has switched to slow motion mode. Why, I don't know but different symptoms sneak up on me on a regular basis.
and don't worry about long posts; we all do it! You're in the right place.

Hi

Have you read the depersonlisation section under symptoms?

You are defo not going mad, I get the exact symtpoms as you do and even tho I have to re-assure myself on many occasions they are caused by anxiety

Take Care

hi,
i get that sometimes too. Anxiety produces some pretty nasty symptoms, so dont worry too much. It might be your medication too, if you've just started it, your body is adjusting. xx
