vein in right side of neck

I keep worrying myself as had a mamo for breast pain and lumpiness.Came back as ok. thought i could feel tiny gland in neck-collar bone region then saw what looks more like a vein sticking out on right side of neck-cannot see one on the other side. It is above where i can feel this thing that feels like a node. frightened myself now.
Can anyone else tel me if they have this? Don't know if it has always been like this as you dont go looking till you have a problem!

Poking/rubbing etc can make veins appear erm.. idk the word? More defined? More sticky outy? ;s

When you were feeling all around your neck/collar bone you probably just brought it out a little more than it usually would be. I kept scratching and rubbing my chest where I had pain one time and it brought out a really big blue vein at the top of my chest. I freaked out but when I left the area alone it vanished again! xx
