Hi All.

I have been keeping my brave face on now for a while, despite struggling. I now feel I cant put the 'OK' head on. Ive tried.

Walk into work this morning, just started crying for no reason which lead to PA.:lac: For the last 14 months, Ive hidden it all at work. My boss knows nothing. I know I too have been hiding it in chat.

Spoke to my doctor yesterday and he says its coming off the meds and nothing else. Being on them for 2 years my body is addicted to them. Its been a week now so hopefully it wont be long now till I can be free from it.

Enough rabble for me, Can I have a hug? :weep:

If it's any consellation though.... I always hide my feelings from people but last month I burst into tears in front of my doctor. All he said was 'did I feel I was being looked after'....

I was horrified that I had cried but he smiled and said IT WAS VERY VERY GOOD as I was letting go a little and crying is actually good for you.

Apparently those of us who don't show our feelings, bottle things up or don't talk about things to others have what he called a 'brick wall' which we use to hide behind. The brick wall keeps our emotions in and other people out.

It can cause inner anxiety and a low feeling.... he reconed he had nudged one of my bricks out of the wall.

I went back a few weeks later and was my normal self, ie quite calm and talking normally etc...I said I'd given myself a slap.. and I even appologised for last time. He smiled and said 'damn that's not what I had in mind you have simply rebuilt your wal'. He was adamant that given a bit longer than the 5 minute appointment he could have made me cry again.:scared15:

Upshot is WE HAVE TO LET IT OUT..WE HAVE TO CRY... IT's GOOD FOR US :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:
