Hi, I have just found this site after suffering for the last 8months (this time) and just reading some of it makes me feel better just because I know I'm not completely mad!!!
I have tried loads of different drugs, doctors etc and nothing seems to work. I tell myself I'm not dying of some horrible disease and that I will be able to cope when I get an attack but somehow all these positive thoughts disappear when I get one. I have coped with feeling 'ILL' every day but it's the waves of heat that I really hate and which frighten me most. The latest drug the doctor is now trying is called Citalopram. Has anyone else got it or tried it? Anyway look forward to chating to someone else who understands.:)

Hi solota!I found the forum acouple of weeks ago and find it helps a little.I have been on citalopram for two weeks and am still waiting to feel half normal again but not giving up just yet!I to really hate that ill feeling i get with this anxiety, some days its worse than others.Just wish it would go as quick as it came.I know that feeling of not being able to keep the positive thoughts in but the negative thoughts dont seem to have a problem staying put!Do keep me posted on how you get on with this drug it would be interesting to see if it works for one of us if not both of us!Good luck with itxxx
