I'm only 16 and have had a fear of dentists all my life. Not sure what is is im scared about, but same with doctors/hospitals..i end up working myself up so much im sick. Anyway i had a toothache a few weeks back that lasted a few days and had an appointment but ended up cancelling as i was too scared. The toothache went after a few days, all my gums round the backs of my teeth are blood red, its like a thin line going round my teeth. I have a feeling i have a gum infection, and have read if left can lead to loss of teeth. Does any have any advice on what i should do?? Is there anything that would help without going to a dentist? Parts of my gums are also uncomfortable/tender when brushing and not too sure but i think the toothache may be coming back..

Hi Becks

Get some Corsodyl. Comes in mouthwash or toothpaste(I use the mouthwash) Its what my dentist recommended for gum problems
