lump in throat

i had it the other week, lasted for a day and went. now it is back again and i am worried as usual.
i was trying to look it up and see if it is an anxiety symptom but most websites say that "feeling like there is a lump" is a symptom not an actual lump. cause i can feel this when i eat and swallow.

i am so upset at the moment, can;t stop crying and wretching :( is it anxiety? if its cancer could it go away and come back like that?

Hi Ellie,

Don't cry, this is a common symptom of anxiety it;s called a globus, it feels like you have a lump and you have difficulty in swallowing, i know it's hard but try and relax it will go believe me.
