Hi all,

I'm still doing well anxiety wise, but this is annoying me, so wondered if anybody else is suffering too!

i have quite dry skin anyway, i get excema on my hands and some other random places on my body! however since sunday the skin on my face has been very tight, quite red and sore, and a little itchy. it feels very dry, almost feels worse when i have dried after a shower... i haven't put any make up on it today but it doesn't seem to have helped.

i'm pretty sure it's not a reaction to anything as i can't think of anything i've done differently, and this is the third day now!

is this jus a case of winter skin - hot air, cold air, central heating, drying me out etc??

Thanks all - off for my gammon and chips shortly, eek! (see my other thread if that confuses you, haha!) :roflmao:

Its the cold. Happens to my hands when I cycle in the cold. Not reaction. Wear hat outside.

HIYA HUN, try Sympathy for the skin, its by Lush...gorgoeus vanilla custard smell, brilliant for eczema too. Big pot, around a tenner, lasts ages. Fresh organic ingredients. Youll smell so good youll want to lick yourself......!

On a similar subject (if AP doesn't mind) ... my lips are killing me this winter - dry, burning, peeling. I've been using Vaseline and a Norwegian Formula balm. Not doing any good. Anyone have any advice x

Problem is, you may get others who want to randomly lick you as well....
Dream Cream is excellent, also by lush, my friend used it on her daughter who had terrible eczema, it cleared it up totally in a month, but this one smells a bit like calomine lotion...big pot, good value for about a tenner again though. x

You look anaemic Jane but it works overnight and is really thick .You could try it thinly rubbed in under a lipstick in the day .But I only use it when im asleep ..Sue x
