phlegm

hi all, i'm a smoker who coughs phlegm most mornings. i'm 32 smoke quite a lot and the phlegm is brownish green. it stops after about 30ish min after waking up. through out the day theres nothing but i cough a bit.

anyone else get this?

I get white phlegm sometimes and I smoke,
had yours always been brown/green?

i get it and it ranges from white to a yellowy green, i think yellowy green is when the mucus is clearing out crap in the lungs or something, i read up on it on a site somewhere by googling it cos i have asthma, i do smoke gave up for 4 weeks and started again but im getting ready to give up again for good this time xx
