Eating after taking dose of Mirtazapine?

Is this okay to do without any negative effects? I take it just before bed normally, but since I am desperately trying to gain weight, I sometimes feel able to fit a tiny little bite in before bed... but obviously that's after I've taken my pill.

That is absolutley fine hun, I also take mirtazapine (have for years) and eat after taking it regularly. If you feel like eating eat what you want.

About 30 mins after I take mine I get cravings for sugary food. I usually eat something and have had no adverse effects.

Ah thank you both! Feel a lot more relieved and free now. Was a bit worried and felt quite restricted.

If you're trying to gain weight, like me, if you need to eat, eat. I suffered from eating disorders, then alcoholism because of depression. And I have not needed a drink for a few days now, and constantly eat. The eating will not do any harm.
