My doc has prescribed Sertraline for me as Citalopram and Ventlafaxine have not helped me much. He mentioned that I might need to have a LFT, liver function test, when on this medication. Has anyone had one of these?

I have been on sertraline for some time now. I have had numerous blood tests and my liver function test is always high. Had my gall bladder out a year ago because of stones now seeing a liver consultant on Tuesday (11th Jan) My GP has said to try and come off the Sertraline she said that it wasn't helping the liver. it can cause iritation. Taking 50mgs instead of 100mgs. Now 1 then half alternate days. Will know more after Tuesday.
