Thanks, What made you link my symptoms to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?

I was referred to a Chronic Fatigue Specialist but now my GP has said they aren't even sure if that's the right place to send me.

I have always had Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in my mind and obviously my doctors must have had as well to refer me to a Chronic Fatigue Specialist.

I get aches and pains in my Head, Eyes, Ears, Face, Neck, Shoulders, Back, Sides, Thighs, Ankles, Between the shoulder blades, Arms, Hands as well as multiple other symptoms such as difficulty swallowing, sore throats, throat pain, digestive and bowel problems etc etc.

Hi Eggy

Did you have all these symptoms when you were married?

(My anxiety started 2 weeks AFTER I got married!)

Ah, ok. Did you have any symptoms or illnesses at all when you were married then?

(Hope your flu is better now?)

These things sometimes go together. I can separate all my symptoms, as fibromyalgia is more constant pain and my anxiety is brief, 10 minutes at most.

Well, could still be anxiety of the general kind. Panic attacks, for many are caused by triggers, a different anxiety.

Depression has physical symptoms as well, look them up.

Eggy,
In my opinion they could most definately be symptoms of anxiety, they could also be symptoms of chronic fatigue, i suffer with both and it times it can be hard to see where one ends an the other begins, it sound as though your doctor has explored all possibilites, have they ran any auto-antibody tests, as some auto immune illnesses can also have very similar symptoms, i know this as i am being monitored for a condition called sjogrens syndrome. Have you spoke openly to your doctor about your anxiety, as whether you have a physical illness or not your anxiety issues need to be addressed. you need to find out whether your illness is making you anxious or your anxiety is making you ill! but it does seem to me from your posts that i have read, that you have very high anxiety and this is bound to make you feel terrible.
