Hi, i'm new to this, having a particularly horrid night, suffered panic attacks for 20 yrs-ish, developed insomnia after accident last year, would be great to chat to people who also have trouble sleeping!! x

aaaw, it's crap (am i allowed to say that?!) isn't it? Hope you manage to calm n sleep, the racing heart is not nice, been telling myself 'it's just a feeling etc etc'; after 20 yrs i should know how to deal with it by now, humm...jus hate the nite time 1's....

Yes, have managed to calm down a lil bit, i havnt slept properly for 15 months now since i got hit by a car while cycling, really didnt need post traumatic stress on top of panics/anxiety i already had! Am jus trying to stay in the moment etc... what techniques do you use? :)

Yeah, it's been a long time :( get good/bad times tho...soz to hear, i been trying to tell myself n recognise the 'thought' thing, like when u think certain things it makes it worse, so i try n think bout other things n stop myself rollercoasting, not always easy, but helps ...

Hello to all you night owls
Just to let you know that things do get better,,,I've been on and off meds coupled with help from a very good psychologist for about 2 years..Things pretty good now. Just get the odd sleepless night...tonight being one. Take a whole 5ml diaz when this happens...so hope to be collasping soon. So pls forgive if spelling become a bit erraticccc....
