What is the point of taking any ssri when you will stop taking them one day and all your anxiety/depression/panic symptoms return again when the seratonin level decreases again??//

A good question that I doubt even the drug companies have an answer to.

To use the same old analogy again, if a diabetic stops taking insulin they'll get ill again. On the other hand it could be argued that people need use any respite an AD gives them to find other ways of trying to get permanently well - cbt and so on.

I read you other post Antomax and I'm really sorry about the situation you find yourself in. It may be that what you are experiencing are withdrawal symptoms - I would imagine going cold turkey on seroxat would be pretty horrible for most people. I hope you feel better soon xxx
