Hi Mili , I got the early fears realy bad at one point they where horrible but they did go in time, I still get them from time to time but nothing like they where. The doctor gave my daughter propranalol but they didnt seem to do much at all with her so she stopped taking them, she wasnt on 3 times a day like you just one and only for a short time so i wouldnt sat for u to stop suden without asking doctor first. The diazapam 2mg one and a half a day is a very low doseso i shouldnt think you would have much problems comming of them (most people only take dizapam when they are realy stressed and not on a daily basis as these are addictive, but as i said you are on a low dose so if you come off them bit by bit you shouldt have any side effects. have you never suffered anxiety before? most seem to start with anxiety quite young, I started at school and it has returned from time to time i am 57 now but the last year have been the best in a long time but i did stop drinking which i had been drinking quite heavy for 40 years. when i stopped drinking the morning fears where horrible, shaking sweating and some days to scared to even get out of my bed, but it did get better with time. hope you feel better soon and sort your med problem with your doctor. take care. vernon

Do not stop the diazepam suddenly . You need to cut down slowly even if you're not on a lot.

Yes SJW is safe - check though if you are on any other presecribed meds .

Propanolol will just be stopping your heart from racing but may be contributing if you feel you are a bit slow in reacting or a bit dizzy.

Hi Mili

Do take it slow coming of the diazepam it is a strong drug and it wont help you coming of it quickly. I take it as and when required and do understand how you feel.

You are not alone in how you feel and we are all here to help you.

Love Sal xx
