fear and panic going to doctors

April I can't go to the doc because I am terrified of having panic attacks in docs office and they WILL find something.

So I am a huge mess!

I don't know how to quite get over it this ordeal. Everytime I have gone and go into severe panic mode.

So hang in there. U are not the only one!

Hi April I am totally phobic of docs and I suffer with health anxiety and can never get any checks. The last time I got dragged their about 3 years ago my blood pressure was so high, he asked me if I was still alive ( which didnt help at all) I envy the people on here who can go and get all their problems checked out.

hi, went tonight! i was a wreck, you know when your heart is racing and cant stop it no matter what you do.
well i have done write up on it any way on symptoms board
doc said im suffering real bad anxiety and stress. again!! x

Well done for going. I know how hard it is this is one of my big problems and its sods law that the doc is the place that is trying to help lol

hiya! i feel so much better today. have head ache from all stress yesterday. i have felt more calmer and in control. had no palps yet. normally get one or 2 at night but had one yest afternoon, was when i was telling son off!
hope dont have one tonight. i am eevn not having decaf tea as has slight bit of caffeine in. its the head rush that scared me loads when had last one
