Social Anxiety and Social Phobia?

Are they just the same problem under a different name or is there a difference between the two?

There is a book by John R. Marshall called "Social Phobia" - if you want to read about social phobia it might be of help.

I don’t really know :shrug:
I personally use them both to mean the same thing.

I suppose ‘anxiety’ is more of a nagging worry whereas a ‘phobia’ is a more extreme fear/avoidance, so that might be the difference if there is one.
