new XL tablets venlafaxine

Hi i`m new to here and very nervous i have been on 150mg of venlafaxine but still very depressed and anxious so the pyhscatrist put me on 225mg venlalic XL i now feel very low and completely drunk and tired worse than before its ruined our xmas and i worry for my children seeing me drugged up like this i don`t know what to do i`m so sick of being messed about with tablets my next appointment is a month away.

You don't have to wait a month. If things don't feel right then insist on seeing someone earlier. Various doses affect people differently. I'm on 300mg and don't suffer anything like the the symptoms you describe, so it's important to get the right dose for you.
