Very anxious.

Hi Everyone.

Just realised that I have only like 10 days of Ramipril (high blood pressure pills) left and I can't like see my normal dr until the 12 January. Not sure what to do really, don't like to see a stranger. The ramipril aint on my repeat prescription cos it changes and its not levelled out yet.

So I am very anxious or what to do. Hmmm do I wait until the 12 January, or do I see another drs whom I haven't seen before, just don't know what to do like.

10 days supply isn't enough, so you will need to see another Doctor. It would be silly and may cause you problems to miss doses or try and string your supply out.

All you need to do is explain to the Doctor that you've run short over the Christmas period and need a repeat of your last prescription with enough pills to see you through to when you can see your normal Doctor. I'm sure that won't be a problem. You won't need to go through everything from scratch.

It's a perfactly reasonable and sensible request, you'll be fine. :hugs:
