Hi all,
Well i got back from the hospital later on today after having my Ultrasound for lymphoma due to 3 enlarged nodes in my Neck and 4 enlarged nodes in my Groin. Theyve been there for about 3 and a half months and are quite hard and not moveable so my doctor referred me to the 2-week Cancer Referral consultant. I had my neck done first and the consultant who specialises in Neck nodes told me that the 3 in my neck are all Reactive Nodes (meaning they are simply due to previous infection, and nothing more sinister like cancer. I then had my groin ones done by a groin node specialist an hour later, and he confirmed that the groin nodes have NOT got bigger in size since my last Ultrasound (3 months ago) (if anything theyve got slightly smaller!) so due to this there was no possible way it could be lymphoma cancer. He explained that if these nodes were cancerous, they would be growing in size, and especially so over a 3 month period!
So im mega pleased :yesyes: I DONT HAVE CANCER !!!! :yesyes: :yesyes: xxx
So to all those out there who worry about their swollen nodes, just bcoz they are hard or not moveable and painless doesnt mean you have cancer! I read far too much on google which worried me sick such as "nodes that feel like a rock are very much a sign of malignant cancer" UTTER RUBBISH.
This is total proof that dr.google clearly doesnt know what hes talking about!!!!!!!!! :D
