very concerned - stange smells & ear issues

Hi all im usually a MS worrier but ever since googleing today i have been in such a panic. At least once a day i get a very odd sense of smell, its as perfume gets up my nose & its a very very strong smell & it takes over everythimg i smell. I also get aweird ear thing where i open my mouth & my ear feels like it fills up with water. :( i googled & it said it could be a brain tumour :lac::weep::weep::weep:

& now i cannot stop thinking about it & wondering if this explains all my other symptoms. i read seizers are normally the first sign but then i read a 'fit' can be as little as a hand jerk or a twitch & i have been getting a random muscle twang in my chest for 18 months every day. Im more worried about the smell thing right now :(

Thank goodness someone else with strange smell. I have noticed ths on and off for years but I will get one of two things. Don't laugh but if I put my finger up my nose ( not in public I hasten to add) then afterwards I get a strange smell for ages- like musty hot dust smell. I will have this for weeks on end then it goes away for up to a year. The other thing I get is that everytime i drink water and its only water nothing else I get horrible taste in my mouth again like a musty moth ball taste if you know what I mean and same smell in my mose for a few minutes- again it lasts for weeks then goes away for up to a year.

I have had quite a few mri brain scans in last 10 years and nothing untoward.

thank you for the reply. I just had a high pitched ring in my ear then i briefly lost hearing in that ear :( im so very scared & to top it off i now have a headache :(

I always smell something burning, usually at work. As for hearing, I sometimes get this ear pressure and then it rings. Sometimes last a few seconds and goes away.

I have MS scares myself, but I've had about 5 doctors all examine me and tell me it's all anxiety..

ok i just got it again :( its as if someone has sprayed realy strong perfume & it lasts a few minutes, I cannot smell perfume just a reallly intense alcohol smell. Im really worried :(
