hi ive been taking noriday mini pill for 5 weeks and because it has made my ibs worse i stopped taking it 3 days ago and today after straining to have a bowel movement in noticed i was spotting from my vagina is this normal i only had my period 10 days ago could it just be blood left over from my period or could it be because ive just stopped the mini pill x

I think it's highly likely because you stopped the mini-pill, so you're geting a withdrawal bleed although it my not be a full period because it's a mini pill and you have only taken it for 10 days.

Nothing to worry about I'm sure.

ive just been to spend a penny and there is no sign of blood now could it be the hormone change that has made my womb lining unstable and because of the straining to do a bowel movement its shed a little bit im just trying to think rationally which is never easy for me x

Hi Bronte, I stopped Noriday after 6 monthes of use, I had spotting, a missed period, then 2 periods in one month. It sounds like your hormones are adjusting thats all. x
