Clenching in Chest

Hi all,

Happy New Year to You All!

I wanted to ask about this symptom of a clenching feeling in the chest. I have it for days on end and when it comes it can be accompanied by a tightness in my chest and globus sensation.

Could this be GERD (but I have no heartburn)?

Hi SB, if its the first experience, and youve no existing cardiac problems, I suggest a visit to your gp. Do you take any meds? Whats your diet like? Do you suffer with anxiety and panic? Are you stressed at the mo? Are you getting over a cold/virus?
It could be a hundred things, but my feeling is this should be investigated to rule anything out. x

I take no meds and have a good diet. I have suffered with anxiety since childhood. I might go see my gp as I am worried x
