Not Feeling Well -Advice Please

Hi, Tonight i feel really unwell I have: -

Really bad sore throat - dont think ive had one this bad before
dizziness
light headedness
slight headache

i dont have any throat sweets to ease my throat and its so painful. i'm also panicking that maybe its throat cancer or something coz its so bad. everytime i get up i begin to feel dizzy like i'm gonna fall over. I don't have a cold or anything at the moment. any advice? ideas on easing a sore throat? could it be cancer or is it just a sore throat? is the dizziness normal?

Hi Louise, probably a virus of some sort. How long have you had the sore throat? Highly unlikely to be cancer. You can buy a throat spray called Ultra Chloraseptic which is really good if it is still troubling you tomorrow (check it's ok with any other meds) x

You're not going to have cancer then if it just started tonight. Haven't you got any ibuprofen or paracetamol in the house? x

might have some ibuprofen but i didnt think that would help a sore throat?

Yes, but it can upset your tum, take with food. Gargle with salt water for your throat tonight x
