hi does any one get relly anxiouse when a member of family is ill as my son has got a sore throat keeps going dizzy and gp said its a viral infection and i ve got a headache now and keep thinking im going to get it and get dizzy and i dont know how to handle it . is it just my anxiety making me feel amd think this way as im getting very anxiose amd cant stop thinking about it can any one advice me please

Yep, I hate it when anyone is sick in our house!

I even went and asked my son's teacher to open the window at school today to make sure that the room wasn't too hot so that they cannot all get swine flu !!!!! I am now officially "that bloody mad woman over there" [not mad, just trying to get them to impose some basics that will help contain the spread of the flu].

If you still have your headache - make a nice cup of tea and chill out for 5 mins with a magazine or some music and try and think calm thoughts.

Hope your son is on the mend.
