hubbys gone to london to watch football, i am going to really struggle being alone today knowing hes so far away :weep: i can feel the panic rising and hes only been gone an hour! i hate being like this! i wish i could drive or get on public transport but i am just stuck in this house with no life :weep: fed up and scared

Hi, I used to get like this too. You need to fill your day - books, films, tv programmes, etc etc. Have you got someone who could visit you for a cuppa - break up the day a bit?
If you find you can't relax enough to sit still and read/watch tv, then try stuff like cleaning - not much fun, but will keep you busy and give you a sense of having achieved something when you have a sparkling house!
Break the day into chunks as well - don't see it as a whole day, but just focus on the next hour. Once you've done that, there's no reason why you can't do the next hour, as you've proved you can.
Try to remember that panic can't harm you - it's horrendous, and makes you feel rubbish, but it's just feelings. Maybe try to go for a walk - fresh air might help and exercise is good for anxiety. x

thank you for your advise :) i know you are right, i will try and go for a walk in a bit, its a bit hard on my own, as i feel paranoid when walking alone :blush: but am going to give it a go. i have some good books i got for xmas, might be a good chance to get stuck in.

hi lizzie he s home around 8, so not long now! i didnt manage to brave the walk :blush: but have tried my best to chill out and read a bit.

Not long til 8 at all! Don't worry about the walk, the fact is that you've spent a whole day home alone and managed! Hope you feel proud. x
