Hi
I have a dental appointment for a filling this afternoon and although I go regularly for check ups, I have not had a filling for 20 years! My anxiety is sky high today and I am really scared as I just do not know what to expect. I fell really pathetic and am worried I will break down in tears!
Any advise would be appreciated.

Hi Nikki

I'm an ex-dental phobic and have had a lot of dental work done over the last 7 years (all of which I've survived!). I find that once I've got the injection over with, which normally only lasts a few seconds, the rest of it is pretty bearable.
