Propranolol and anti emetic meds

Hiya

I know we should trust what our Doctors prescribe us but I take 40mg of Propranolol every day but my doctor has also just prescribed me Prochlorperazine (an anti emetic tablet) to take when I need it.

I googled it (probably a big mistake) and it says you shouldnt take them together. Should I just trust my Doctor and take them both or should I ring NHS Direct?

Is there anyone who has taken Propranolol with any anti emetic meds?

I'd check to be on the safe side Kelly, either with NHS 24 or wait till the morning and phone your surgery xx

Thanks Jane, I ma not going to take them until I know for sure as it will make me panic!

I havent had to ask before but do you know if I just ask someone at a chemist or do I need to book an appointment with my Doctor and ask him?

A chemist should do or just ring the docs and ask if you could speak to him/her on the phone or ask the question via their secretary or someone. You shouldn't need an appt xxx
