I received some information today from a CBT counsellor which made me smile so I thought I would share with you.

The leaflet says;
ANXIETY AND PANIC DO NOT MAKE YOU MENTALLY ILL-THEY ARE A MENTAL HABIT.

We all know the Stigma for suffers such as us because we are classed as mentally ill!!

I really like this statement.

Thanks for that.

It is a mental habit, nothing other than, that we are all trying to break.

I will store that line somewhere safe.

Ditto.
I was told the same thing yesterday when I talked about a blip I'm presently experiencing. Being anxious has become a habit!
