Not quite sooooo scared

Been back to the doc's today been prescribed diazepan short term to get me through this really bad time.

Of course I am scared to take it in fact I am scared of everything right now!
Some reassurance please from someone out there who has taken this and that they are ok!

Having bloods done in a bit checking thyroid activity. Had swine flu before christmas doc checking it has not attacked my thyroid which could explain why I am so bad. Who know's ?

She says my protective bubble has burst which is why I am scared of everything and feeling totally irrational. Hopefully the diazepan will help?

Please can someone send me some reassurance? xx

Don't be afraid to take it. It is a benzodiazepine and it will calm you. I have taken ativan for many months ( a small amount) and am now tapering off of it.
Taken in small amounts, short term, will be fine.
