How long does propranolol stay in the system?

I started 40mg propranolol today, once a day, in the morning
I definately noticed a change in hwo relaxed i felt, no side effects thankgod!!!!
I'm wondering if it's worn off now though..
Does anyone know how long it stays in your system roughly?

Hey Becks.

I take 40mg a day (usually in morning) and I get the effects for about 5-6 hours.

4-6 hours for me. They took about 30 mins to work.
