hi

I'm new to this so just having a look around the site I've suffered badly since last November with anxiety. I've always been what you might call nervous but started with panic attacks last november and I'm still off work at home. It's good to know that there are others out there who understand what it feels like according to my doctor Ilm doing everything right to get better but feel incredibly frustrated at the time as Ilve always been impatient. Hope this will help take some of the pressure of me and my partner who has had to watch me go through this and try as he might can't fully understand what its like.

hi danni

i think one of the good things about this site is that it does take the pressure of those who love us, who definitely fail to understand. and in their defence how could they, for you have to go through it to fully grasp the pain and fear. so you are right. however wacky or weird my fear at that moment is i no longer hound my family i hound these great people who are qiuck to reply and reassure if they can

i really hope we can all help as we all go thruogh this together

welcome , you will love it here

Welcome Aboard, Dani

It is very difficult for US to describe to ourselves what is going on with the anxiety, so getting your loved one to understand is understandably difficult.

It might help if you explain that its never very easy for the partner to understand - he may feel bad about not coping so well.
