My first posting. I believe I have some form of anxiety problem be it G.A.D
or health anxiety. I am permanently worried about physical symptoms chest pains, tingling cold feet/hands but have had ecg and treadmill test both with negative results no sign of angina etc. None of the doctors I have visited have even remotely mentioned anxiety being the cause can it be as simple as that?
Thinking back I have probably suffered for a many of my 47years without an inkling of what the problem is maybe this forum can help me. I am at the stage of being scared to do much especially exercise which I know should be one of the main things to do, but today after a visit to the doctors for an unrelated appointment my blood pressure is on the up even though I have been on medication for it and cholesterol for about a year can this too be anxiety
