heart/breathing stops during sleep?

Does anyone suddenly jerk awake at night feeling as if their heart has stopped/ they have stopped breathing?

i honestly thought that only happend to me dont feel any better knowing others have it to as my heart goes out to any one with anxiety and panic bye for now
