These last few days I've noticed my heart is racing like mad 200+ sometimes for a few seconds and then it goes back to normal again although its still faster at rest then it was. Is this anxiety related or do I have a heart problem, I'm really worried now.

I went to hospital yesterday. My blood pressure & temperature were sky high but my heart was fine. The ECG was perfect & my sats were spot on. I'm sure its just anxiety that you're suffering from. Have you had an ECG before? It would put your mind at ease to get one done.

im sure you have nothing to worry about, as claire weekes says a heart can tolerate fast beats even of 200 bpm without damage. it is quite common for yuor heart to race and even be much faster than normal even during rest when you are anxious. the bloody thing can creep up on you even when you believe yourself to be less anxious

try not to worry, itis beating faster because you are aware of it.

have you read claire weekes book self help for your nerves as i think this would give you peace of mind

hope this helps
