Hi all,
Some of you remember I had a Rapid HIV test before christmas. It was negative.
Ive suffered from HIV anxiety for over 14 years. Absolutely terrified I had it & scared to get tested because of the consequences etc... For me it was better to live in sheer bliss.
Anyways, just to update you further.
My doc sent me to hospital to have a complete range of blood tests to test for ALL STI's, including a repeat HIV test.
Well ive got the results & they all Negative.
Im the happiest guy in the world & im sitting here thinking why oh why did I put myself through the anxiety of it for 14 years!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, get yourself tested if your worried. Yes its frightening but its a hard disease to catch and if you have it, you will need treatment.
The chances are you WONT have it. Dont do what ive done. Its no way to live your life frightened for no reason!
